Court grants Babalakin bail on self recognition

Bilionaire businessman, Wale Babalakin, has been granted bail by a Lagos Court, on self recognition.

The Chairman of Bi-Courtney Highway Services Limited, is under prosecution by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), for mounder laundering up to the tune of N4.7 billion, belonging to James Ibori, the former Governor of Delta State.

Babalakin showed up in court this morning, after failing to report to EFCC’s office yesterday.

The court will come up again on February 25.
