Nigerian singer, Douglas Jack Agu, better known by his stage name as Runtown, has been banned from performing at any event or any form of recording until further notice.

A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos state slammed the ban against the 27-year-old rising musical artiste following claims that he attended musical shows without the knowledge or approval of Ericmany Entertainment record label to which he is signed to.

The injunction from the court, therefore, ‘prevents him from performing at any event or any form of recording for the time being unless with the approval of Ericmany Limited.

The Enugu State-born songster who rose to fame after he collaborated with Davido to release a song produced by T-Spize titled ‘Gallardo’ in January 2014, had allegedly connived with Bug Media ran by one Bugwu Aneto to sideline Ericmany.

Runtown purportedly attended and collected money directly for shows without the knowledge of Ericmany.

Aneto, who was the former General Manager of Ericmany before he broke out to form Bug Media, is however, a party to the court case.
