Head coach of Brazil, Tite, has dismissed reports from Peruvian newspaper, Libero, suggesting that the host nation used drone to oversee Peru training ahead of both sides’ clash at the 2019 Copa America on Saturday night.

Tite insisted that his side did not spy on Ricardo Gareca’s team, adding that he would never go so far to try and win a game for his team.

Speaking on the development ahead of Brazil’s clash against Peru tonight, Tite was quoted by Goal as saying at a news conference, “Take my word of honour that there was nothing, the word of honour.

“If you have to pay this price to win, I’ll take my cap and go home.”

Brazil head to the game after a goalless draw against Venezuela on Wednesday, while Peru defeated Bolivia 3-1.

The kick-off time for the match is 8pm.
