Conte warns Chelsea players ahead of FA Cup final clash with Manchester United

Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte has warned his players ahead of his sides FA Cup final clash with Manchester United slated for May 19.

Conte, who saw his side lose 3-0 to Newcastle United in Sunday’s final day Premier League clash at St James’ Park, warned his players that they cannot afford to deliver a repeat performance to Rafa Benitez’s men when they face the Red Devils this Saturday in the FA Cup final at Wembley.

Goals from Dwight Gayle and a double from Ayoze Perez sealed a 3-0 win for Benitez’s side.

“For sure we must change, if we think we play a game like this in the FA Cup we don’t have a chance,” Conte told reporters after Chelsea defeat to Newcastle United

“We have six days to change our approach and desire and will to fight.

“For this I am the first person to answer for this as I am the coach of this team and I am the first person to answer for this game.”

Meanwhile, Chelsea have finished in fifth place on the Premier League table this season.

The West London club will now play in the Europa League next season.
