Chelsea boss, Antonio Conte, has expressed his surprise at former coaches at the club snubbing Victor Moses.
The Super Eagles winger has spent the last three years on loan away from Stamford Bridge, but was handed a lifeline by Conte who took charge last summer.
Moses has gone on to become a permanent presence in the Blues team, as they racked up six consecutive wins in the Premier League, scoring 17 goals and conceding none.
“I could see his potential from the first days of the summer training camp,” Conte told Gazzetta dello Sport.
“Moses has important qualities: technique, physical strength, the ability to cover seventy meters of the pitch.
“I find it incredible that someone like him has been underestimated.”
Moses, who has played more as a wingback in Conte’s favoured 3-4-3 formation, has scored three times in 13 appearances in all competitions this season.
