The Italian wants to make additional signings, with Ivan Perisic, Fernando Llorente, Virgil van Dijk, Antonio Candreva and Alex Sandro all listed among his targets.
The Blues board, in the other hand, is turning down is requests signing older players, with the club more interested in younger players.
