Nigeria’s U-23 team’s training, was on Saturday disrupted by stadium officials in Pointe Noire, Congo.
Samson Siasia’s boys were preparing for Sunday’s African U-23 Championship final qualifier against their hosts, when the officials stopped them from concluding their mandatory one-hour warm up.
This forced the Dream Team VI to leave the training facility for their hotel.
It is understood that the Nigerian officials refused to argue with their hosts and quietly took the team away.
Siasia will be hoping that his team build on their 2-1 victory from the first leg in Port Harcourt and qualify for the Championship.
