Portugal confirmed their place in the semi-final of this year’s Confederations Cup, after a 4-0 hammering of New Zealand in St Petersburg on Saturday.
Captain Cristiano Ronaldo opened scoring from the penalty spot in the 33rd minute, before Bernardo Silva doubled the European champions’ lead from close range.
Andre Silva squeezed in a third with 10 minutes left, before Nani added a fourth in stoppage time.
Portugal progress as group winners, after Mexico beat hosts Russia 2-1 to finish second.
The last two spots will be determined on Sunday, when Germany take on Cameroon and Australia play Chile.
