Community worried over kidnap of two NYSC members in Rivers state

Information reaching DailyPost from Rivers state confirms that the two members of the National Youth Service Corps who were abducted in the State are yet to be released.

Rumuewhor community in Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State, has as a result tasked the Rivers State Government and the Police to intensify efforts to secure the release of the abducted corps members.

The two NYSC members were on Tuesday abducted from Odegu Comprehensive High School, Rumuewhor by gunmen, who invaded the NYSC quarters in the community school.

Their whereabouts is still unknown, as no contact has been established with their abductors even while this report is been filed.

In his reaction, His Royal Highness, Oha Ikech Igbukwu, Yeweali Rumuewhor, said the community calls on the state government and the police to help free the corps members unhurt.
