Former Barcelona coach, Pep Guardiola, Jose Mourinho and Vicente del Bosque, have been announced as the three finalists for the FIFA Coach of the Year award.

Guardiola, who is currently on a year sabbatical from football, won the Copa del Rey, in his last match in charge of Barcelona.

Mourinho guided rivals Real Madrid to the La Liga title, winning the league with a record total number of points.

Del Bosque led Spain to the 2012 European Championships – their third consecutive major championship.

Guardiola won it last year, after leading Barcelona to a league and Champions League double, while Mourinho won it in 2012.

The winners of all the awards will be revealed next January at the FIFA ballon d’Or gala, in Zurich Kongresshaus.
