I, Owen Akenzua wish to clarify that the story titled,” Uduaghan’s Aides Fingered As Delta Govt uncovers 8,500 illegal employees, 2,000 Others Fake Credentials” reported on DAILY POST, where I quoted one Sunny Areh, a former media aide to ex-governor Emmanuel Uduaghan to have dismissed the report, is untrue.
The quote in the said story is highly regretted, unfortunate and I humbly apologize for whatever inconveniences and discomfort the report may have caused Sunny Areh, a veteran journalist, his family members and political associates.
As a colleague, I have worked closely with him close to eight years in Delta State and I have found him amiable, and passionate with journalism profession.
