Chelsea vs Manchester United: Conte speaks of big problem at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea coach, Antonio Conte has admitted that there is a big problem at the club, adding that the issues are not simple to solve.

Conte also stated on Friday, that it is unlikely anyone will be able to catch Manchester City in the Premier League title race this season.

Chelsea have struggled in recent games with the latest being a 3-0 loss to AS Roma in the Champions League.

The Blues will host Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United on Sunday and the Italian admits that his side is facing difficult period.

He told a press conference, “This season we are struggling a lot because we are facing a lot of important problems.

“To solve these problems is not simple. In this moment, you can see if you are winners or losers.

“This is a very important moment. When the period is positive, it’s very simple for everyone to play well, to have great confidence.

“In this moment, when you’re struggling, it’s important to show our character. To be strong. To face the problems in the right way.

“I am used, in my life, to doing this. I struggled a lot in my life, as a player and then as a coach also. My history, my story, tells you this.

“I think that, now, there is a big problem for all the teams that want to fight for the title, and this big problem is Manchester City.

“Because, if Manchester City continue in this way, I think this is the big problem for all the teams who are thinking about fighting for the title.

“If they continue in this way, it will be very difficult to fight for the title. But, for sure, we have to try to do our best in every game.

“I don’t know, honestly, I don’t know,” Conte said when asked if City could keep it up. “Until now, though, they are having a fantastic path.

“A fantastic path. If they continue in this way, it will be very difficult for all the teams to try and fight for the title until the end.”
