Leicester City midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi has predicted a ‘difficult’ game when his side takes on Chelsea in Sunday’s Premier League at Stamford Bridge.
The Super Eagles star also said that Brendan Rodgers’ men have to be alert against Frank Lampard’s side despite the Blues’ 4-0 defeat to Manchester United in the Premier League last Sunday and their UEFA Super Cup 5-4 penalty loss to Liverpool on Wednesday.
Leicester City head to the game after their goalless draw against Wolves last weekend.
“Despite the fact that Chelsea have lost two games, it will be a difficult game and we will have to be alert,” Ndidi told Leicester City’s official website.
“We got a point against Wolves, but we can be better going into the Chelsea game. We’ll go there to try and get something out of it.
“Every game we learn, and we take to the next game. For Wolves, they’re a very good team. We actually kept the ball in possession and that’s difficult against Wolves.
“Playing like that, it gives us more confidence to go forward. They have a good record away from home and I think we did well defensively. We have to try and create more chances now.”
The kick-off time for the match is 4:30pm.
