Chelsea take decision on Reece James joining EPL rival

Chelsea have finally decided not to let Striker Reece James leave the club for English Premier League London rivals, Crystal Palace.

According to Daily Star, Frank Lampard’s side has rejected a £20million bid from Crystal Palace over the signature of their 19-year-old attacker.

The newspaper is reporting that Palace want James as Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s replacement at the club after the 21-year-old left the Eagles for Manchester United earlier this summer.

DAILY POST recalls that Wan-Bissaka joined Manchester United on a five-year deal from Crystal Palace last month.

James was among the 13 players Chelsea sent on loan last season.

He spent the 2018-19 season at Wigan and was impressive for the Championship club.

The England youngster scored three goals and registered three assists for Wigan.
