Italian giants, Juventus have opened talks with Chelsea over £50million summer move for striker, Alvaro Morata.
Morata only joined the Blues from Real Madrid in a £58 million deal last summer but is already being strongly linked with a departure from Stamford Bridge.
Recall that Morata’s representatives had last week Monday come to an agreement with Juventus, with the 25-year-old willing to take a pay cut to push through a deal.
Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Chelsea value Morata at around £50million and Juventus would rather take the Spaniard on loan for a season before committing to such an outlay.
According to the Italian newspaper, Juventus want Morata at Turin to replace striker, Mario Mandzukic next season.
Meanwhile, Chelsea coach, Antonio Conte will be forced to choose between Morata and Giroud to start against Manchester United in the FA Cup final on Saturday.
Giroud is in a better form than Morata, having scored four goals in his last six appearances.
Morata scored just 11 goals in the just concluded Premier League season for Chelsea.
Also, Arsenal legend, Paul Merson has stated that he cannot see Morata staying at Chelsea as the Spain international continues to be linked with a move to Juventus.
