Palermo forward Paulo Dybala, has hinted that he could move to Barcelona this summer.
The 21-year-old has been heavily linked with Chelsea, Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain, with his agent confirming that two of the clubs have submitted bids for the player.
Dybala’s agent Gustavo Mascardi said: “Paris Saint-Germain have already come forward with an offer of about £32.4m and Chelsea had already reached £28.8m,” Mascardi told Gazzetta dello Sport on Monday.
“We’re now at the stage where the price cannot be lower than €50m [£36m]. Paulo is in no hurry and will take his decision calmly.”
Speaking to French TV, Dybala spoke about his love for the city of Barcelona and their culture of Argentine players.
“I went to Barcelona to watch the latest Clasico. It’s a city I like a lot, and they play very nice football,” he said.
“When I was a child I preferred Barcelona, because they had more Argentines.
“Then, of course, there’s (Lionel) Messi, who is an idol in Argentina.”
Dybala has scored 13 times and provided 10 assists in Serie A this season.
