Chelsea have opened talks with goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois over a new contract.
The Belgium international has just over two years remaining on his current deal and is attracting interest from Real Madrid.
Sky Sports News HQ reports that Courtois, who has won two Premier League titles since joining Chelsea in 2011, wants to remain at Stamford Bridge.
“If Chelsea wants to be the best team, they need the best players and Thibaut is the one.
“If Thibaut stays in London he deserves the best conditions at his level,” a source told SSN HQ.
Courtois has featured 37 times for Chelsea in all competitions this season, as Antonio Conte’s men won the title and reached the FA Cup final.
