Chelsea confident Conte won’t leave despite ‘agreement’ with Inter Milan

Chelsea is not worried over suggestions its manager, Antonio Conte, will leave the club in the summer.

According to reports in England claiming to cite Tuttosport, the Italian has ‘agreed’ a return to his country, to become manager of Inter Milan.

It is being speculated that Conte is suffering from homesickness and has now been offered a huge deal to return to Serie A.

The 47-year-old has made a big impression in his first year in England, with Chelsea leading the Premier League with 10 points.

However, Tuttosport claims that he has been offered a four-year deal worth €15million per season. The newspaper similarly reported last month, that Conte would be offered €400million for transfers.

And there are also reports from La Repubblica, that Conte has a ‘strained’ relationship with Chelsea owner, Roman Abramovich.

Chelsea officials fully believe that Conte will still be at Stamford Bridge next year.
