The Super Eagles will play either Benin Republic or Togo, in the 2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers, after the draws were conducted by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
Teams were divided into six zones: Northern, West A, West B, Central, Central-East, and Southern, according to the zonal representation of the national association affilated to CAF.
The two-legged qualifiers will hold between August 11 and 20, 2017.
Nigeria was sent packing in the preliminary round of the 2016 edition in Rwanda and will be desperate to make amends in the next edition to be hosted by Kenya.
The fifth edition of the tournament will be held between January 11 and February 2, 2018.
