Rwanda are now joint top of Group C with Nigeria, after their 1-0 win over Equatorial Guinea at the ongoing Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) in Morocco on Friday.
Thierry Manzi scored the only goal of the encounter, heading in a corner kick.
The result means Rwanda now also have four points, while Equatorial Guinea have been eliminated from the tournament after losing their first two matches.
Libya are in third place with three points.
Rwanda’s next game is against Libya on Tuesday, while Equatorial Guinea will face Nigeria also on Tuesday.
