Head coach of Niger Republic, has admitted that Nigeria were the better side, after they were beaten 4-1 in their opening game of the 2016 African Nations Championship on Monday.
Zahoui said the Super Eagles showed their experience and described the encounter as a clash between David and Goliath.
The Mena handler also tipped Sunday Oliseh’s men, to go all the way to the final of the tournament.
“Nigeria was much more the better side,” Zahoui said after the match.
“We came against a better Nigeria side that are good enough to win the competition.”
Zahoui also promised that his team would work hard to improve on their display, when they take on Guinea on Friday.
“We will keep working hard even though it would be hard to qualify considering the pedigree of teams in the group,” he said.
