President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the payment of Super Eagles’ allowances and bonuses at the 2016 African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Rwanda.
The Minister of Sports, Solomon Dalung, made this know on Sunday, ahead of Nigeria’s opening game against Niger on Monday.
Dalung and some Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) topshots, visited the Hillview Hotel base of the Eagles and assured them about their welfare.
“I’m happy to announce to you that President Buhari has approved your winning bonus and camp allowance right from Abuja,” Dalung said.
“The President also thanks the coaching crew and all the players for your perseverance and he is urging you to go all out for the trophy.”
