Champions Leauge: Why Liverpool lost 1-0 against Napoli – Salah

Liverpool ace, Mohamed Salah has explained why his side were defeated 1-0 against Napoli in the Champions League played on Wednesday night.

Late goal from forward, Lorenzo Insigne ensured victory for Carlo Ancelotti’s men.

Salah, who handed his Liverpool shirt over to Ancelotti following the dramatic defeat to Napoli, said that Jurgen Klopp’s men lost because they were not ‘good enough’.

“Normally if you are not good enough you lose football games. That was us tonight,” Salah was quoted by The Mirror as saying after the match.

“We didn’t create a lot of chances. Second half was not good enough.

“It’s always a bad sign when you have to say your goalkeeper was your best player, but it was obvious tonight.”

Liverpool will take on Manchester City in the Premier League this Sunday.
