Chelsea scorers in their Champions League victory over Lille on Wednesday, Willian and Tammy Abraham, have shared their thoughts about the game.
Willian smashed in a second-half winner against the home side.
He believes the way they performed in France has set Chelsea up well to give last year Ajax a strong challenge in their next game.
Ajax have six points from six so far and scored three goals without reply against both Lille and Valencia last night.
Chelsea now sit second with their three points and after playing Southampton in the Premier League and Newcastle after the international break, will travel to Amsterdam.
“For sure it will be a tough game and we need to prepare well for this game,” Willian told Chelsea website.
“We know how difficult it is going to be but I think we can do the same job as we did on Wednesday night.
“We have to work together like we are doing and then results are going to come like this one.
“We deserved to win and we needed to win. We have worked hard every day and the lads did an amazing job against Lille.
“It is a tough place to play, Lille have a good team, they play well so we did a great job and we have to carry on in the same way.”
On his part, Abraham said, “I am in a team that is creating a lot of chances and I knew I would get my chance and I think I took it well.
“We work on it in training. The manager always wants to mix it up and we have the players for it.
“We have fantastic players and we can play any system and that is what we need to do throughout the season.”
