Juventus superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo, on Thursday pledged to keep working hard after his side’s UEFA Champions League 2-2 draw against Atletico Madrid on Wednesday night.
Goals from Juan Cuadrado, Blaise Matuidi, Stefan Savic and Hector Herrera ensured both teams shared a point each at the Wanda Metropolitano.
Ronaldo, who made a gesture to Atletico Madrid fans shortly after he missed a late chance to put Maurizio Sarri’s men back in front, promised that Juve will continue to work hard to achieve their goal this season.
In a tweet on his official Twitter page, Ronaldo who was jeered and whistled throughout the match, wrote: “We will keep working hard to achieve our goals #finoallafine (#untiltheend).”
The Portuguese captain will now hope to lead Juventus to victory when they take on Verona in the Serie A fixture this weekend.
