Champions League: Solskjaer speaks on Man Utd keeping Messi quiet

Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has claimed he is not working on a specific system to contain the threat posed by Lionel Messi.

Solskjaer’s men take on Barcelona in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final clash on Wednesday.

Although Messi has not scored in his last 11 games at this stage of the competition, he is expected to be one of Barca’s key men.

“What kind of plan can you have to stop one of the best players in the world? This season we have played Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus and Kylian Mbappe at PSG.

“Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez, they will keep our defenders on our toes so let’s see how we manage,” Solskjaer told a press conference on Tuesday afternoon.
