Manchester United’s interim manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has praised the duo of Marcus Rashford and Romelu Lukaku, following their 3-1 win over Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday night.
Lukaku scored twice in the first half, while Rashford slammed home a 90th-minute penalty, as United stunned the Ligue 1 champions, to qualify for the Champions League quarter-final.
Solskjaer’s men looked down and out, after they lost the first leg 2-0 at home, but the Norwegian was confident going into the second leg.
“The belief in the boys was exactly what we hoped for, but we had a great start. That early goal made it more open for us.
“I was in the Champions League with Molde and got a last minute penalty against Basel and we missed and went out.
“Rashford is fearless, no nerves whatsoever. Him and Rom were fantastic tonight.
“That’s what the Champions League does, just look at Real Madrid last night.
“At this club, that’s just what we do. That’s Manchester United,” Solskjaer told BT Sports.
