AC Milan legend, Clarence Seedorf has named Real Madrid as the favourite club that can win the Champions League this season.
Seedorf stated this ahead of Real Madrid’s Champions League round of 16 second-leg tie with Ajax on Tuesday night at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Real Madrid head to the game following a 2-1 victory over Ajax in the first-leg encounter last month.
“Last year was the same question,” Seedorf told Goal.
“If a club has the cups it has, you have to think that Real Madrid is always capable of reaching the Champions League final and winning it this season.
“Who was going to say they were going to win three Champions League trophies in a row? Impossible! Because it never happened. Not even two in a row.
“So, of course, they are capable. Football never ceases to amaze us. Knowing that, it will be very difficult, but you cannot rule out Real Madrid.”
