Champions League: Ronaldo breaks record with goal against Juventus

Real Madrid forward, Cristiano Ronaldo has broken yet another record with his first goal in their Champions League quarter-final clash with Juventus on Tuesday.

Some poor defending from Juve in only the 3rd minute allowed Isco acres of space on the left flank and the Spaniard put the ball for Ronaldo in the box.

The Portugal’s captain’s goal means he becomes the first player in the history of the Champions League to score in ten consecutive games in the competition.

His goals include:

Juvenrus (Away) PSG (Away) PSG (Home) Dortmund (Home) Apoel (Away) Spurs (Away) Spurs (Home) Dortmund (A) Apoel (Home)

He was already holding the record with former Manchester United team-mate Ruud van Nistelrooy.

Van Nistelrooy netted 12 times in nine consecutive matches for Manchester United back in 2003.
