Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand, has revealed why other teams playing in the UEFA Champions League will not want to meet Liverpool at this stage of the competition.
Recall that Liverpool booked their place in the last 8 of the Champions League with a 0-0 draw against Porto at Anfield on Tueday night after winning the first-leg 5-0 in Portugal.
Ferdinand believes Liverpool can win their sixth European Cup this season.
“I think they have got the potential to [go the whole way]. You wouldn’t want to play Liverpool,’ Ferdinand told BT Sport.
“It doesn’t matter who you are in this tournament now that front three, when they are on fire, that intensity, going to Anfield, a difficult place to go.
“The pace they have got in that team, they are going to be a hard proposition for any team in this tournament.”
Jurgen Klopp’s men have lost just one Premier League game in 2018.
Liverpool will clash against Manchester United in the Premier league this Saturday.
