Real Madrid booked their place in the last eight of the UEFA Champions League, after a 2-0 win over Roma at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday night.
The Spanish giants, who also won 2-0 in Italy two weeks ago, endured early pressure from the visitors and were only in the game, because of dreadful finishing from Edin Dzeko and Mohammed Salah.
However, Cristiano Ronaldo claimed his 90th goal of the competition to give Madrid the lead, before James Rodriguez confirmed their passage into the next round.
In the other match, Andre Schurrle scored the only goal, as Wolfsburg defeated Gent 1-0 at home, to qualify with a 4-2 aggregate.
