Real Madrid captain, Sergio Ramos has reacted to Cristiano Ronaldo’s wonder goal, saying that it captivated him seeing the crowd applaud his teammate.
Ramos said the goal gave Ronaldo the prize of public recognition.
The Spanish defender hailed Ronaldo’s amazing goal against Juventus in the Champions League quarter final and insisted that the Portuguese’s work-rate makes him the superstar he is.
Ronaldo produced one of his finest ever goals to help his club take a major step towards the semi-finals of the elite competition.
When asked about Ronaldo, Ramos said, “He is in terrific form.
“He helps us and I hope he stays that way all season, his goal is amazing but we value the collective work.
“You are surprised by the goal, but you have to value the work he does for the team.
“It was a great goal, it really captivated me to see the reaction of the crowd and he gets the prize of public recognition.”
