Champions League quarter-final: Guardiola reacts to Man United draw against Barcelona

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has reacted to Manchester United’s Champions League quarter-finals draw with Barcelona.

DAILY POST recalls that Man United were drawn alongside Barcelona when the draw for quarter-finals took place in Nyon on Friday.

Guardiola said Man United’s clash against Barcelona in the last eight of the Champions League will be ‘fascinating’.

According to him, both the Premier League giants and the La Liga champions have ‘incredible’ players.

When asked for his thoughts on Man United’s clash with Barcelona, Guardiola was quoted by Metro UK as saying: “Two incredible stadiums, two incredible clubs, incredible players in both sides, so fascinating.

“The Champions League, every season, the games are more fascinating. “I think it will be two interesting games to watch.”

Guardiola added, “Every team has their strengths and weaknesses, and it’s the same with us. ‘All I’m concerned with is Tottenham.

“Huge respect and I know them quite well. It’s hard, but if you talk about any other team in the Champions League it would be the same.”
