Edinson Cavani is set to make his return from a hip injury, in the second leg of Paris Saint-Germain’s Champions League Round of 16 clash with Manchester United.
PSG manager, Thomas Tuchel, is expected to continue Julian Draxler in the No 10 role, while Angel Di Maria will line up on the left wing and Dani Alves plays out of position on the other flank in support of Kylian Mbappe.
Dani Alves has been overlooked in favour of Thilo Kehrer at right-back recently, while Presnel Kimpembe has been partnering Thiago Silva in central defence.
This has allowed Marquinhos to move forward into midfield alongside Marco Verratti, with the duo compensating for the absence of Adrien Rabiot who is currently frozen out with the reserves.
Juan Bernat was preferred to Layvin Kurzawa at left-back in the first leg and could get the nod again while Thomas Meunier remains sidelined.
Gianluigi Buffon has been Tuchel’s preferred goalkeeper in Europe this season and is likely to be selected once again.
Paris Saint-Germain predicted line-up vs Manchester United:
(4-2-3-1): Buffon; Kehrer, Silva, Kimpembe, Bernat; Verratti, Marquinhos; Mbappe, Draxler, Di Maria; Cavani
