Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba, has said his side beat Juventus 2-1 in their Champions League Group H fixture on Wednesday, because they were in a rich vein of form.
Cristiano Ronaldo gave the Italian champions the lead, before Juan Mata’s free-kick levelled the game for United.
Jose Mourinho’s men took all three points, after the ball went in off Alex Sandro late in the match.
“Lovely, we won. The fans were very welcoming to me and I appreciate that. The most important thing was to win the three points.
“I celebrate for the goal but it touched a lot of people but the most important thing is that it went in.
“It’s what we’ve been doing for the last few weeks. We’ve been playing well together. Maybe we have an extra breath or power at the end,” Pogba told reporters afterwards.
