Champions League: Pogba must take responsibility, I don’t care how much he cost – Mourin

Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, has challenged Paul Pogba to take more responsibility in the team.

Pogba has travelled with the squad to Seville, ahead of their Champions League round of 16 clash against Sevilla, after missing their 2-0 win over Huddersfield in the FA Cup.

The France midfielder missed the game through “illness”, but returned to training a day after.

Although Mourinho has tried to quell talk of a rift between the two men, he still faced more questions about Pogba.

“I don’t even like the fact that the player who cost X millions doesn’t have the same responsibility as the player who cost three times X. The responsibility is for everyone.

“When I decide a team to play, I don’t look to the age, the salary, the transfer fee, because that’s also not fair,” the Portuguese said.
