Liverpool forward, Phillipe Coutinho has been dropped from the club’s squad for Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League qualifier against German side Hoffenheim.
Liverpool confirmed this on their website on Monday.
The Brazilian has been linked with a move to Barcelona after the departure of Neymar to PSG.
He has handed in a transfer request last week to secure a move to the Spanish club.
He was not available for Liverpool’s 3-3 draw away to Watford in the club’s first game of the season on Saturday.
