Former MFM striker, Stephen Odey, could only net a consolation goal, as Liverpool beat his Genk side 4-1 in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain scored either side of the break, to give the defending champions a 2-0 lead.

Sadio Mane and Mohammed Salah also got on the score sheet, as the Reds dominated the encounter in Belgium.

Odey, who replaced Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu, had enough time to pull back in the 88th minute.

Genk are bottom of Gorup E with one point, while Liverpool are second with six points.
