Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, has told his under-achieving players to “stay at home” if they cannot handle the pressure at Old Trafford.

United is the only team yet to score at home in this season’s Champions League.

Mourinho’s men will however qualify for the knockout stages, if they beat visitors Young Boys on Tuesday and Valencia failed to beat Juventus in Turin.

“If you feel pressure, stay at home – and when I say home, I don’t say stadium home, I say home home and watch on TV.

“If you feel pressure to play matches at home where the people come to support… come on.

“I never felt pressure to play at home,” Mourinho told Sky Sports.
