Former Manchester United and Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho has tipped FC Porto to beat Liverpool when both teams clash in the Champions League quarter-final first-leg tie on April 9 at Anfield.
Mourinho believes Porto “have a chance” of progressing past Liverpool in the Champions League last eight.
Porto reached the Champions League quarter-final after defeating AS Roma in the last 16 stage, while Liverpool defeated Bayern Munich.
“FC Porto have a chance against Liverpool,” Mourinho was quoted by Record as saying at the ANTF Coaches Forum on Tuesday.
“Compared with last season, I think Sérgio Conceição will ask himself questions about what happened in order to do something different this time around.
“The tie is open and what happened last year, I believe, can play for Porto in both games.
“Liverpool have an absolutely fantastic individual quality. They are disputing the league title, which means that in the previous game or between the two games, they will not rest players.”
