Manchester United will receive a staggering €10.5million from UEFA, for reaching the quarter-finals of the Champions League, after winning 3-1 at Paris Saint-Germain, the UK Mirror reports.

It is €1million more than they earned for reaching the last-16.

United overcame all the odds to progress to the last eight, despite trailing 2-0 from the first leg at Old Trafford.

Romelu Lukaku scored twice, while Marcus Rashford netted a controversial late penalty, to progress on away goals.

Manchester United are yet to know their quarter-final opponents, but should they progress to the semi-finals, they will make an additional €12million.

A place in the final sees a team earn €15million, while the winners make an additional €4million.
