Champions League: Messi under fire after Barcelona’s 3-0 win over Man United

Premier League legend, Robbie Savage, has accused Barcelona captain, Lionel Messi, of “teasing” Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba, during their Champions League tie.

Savage said this following Barcelona’s Champions League quarter-final second leg encounter against Ole Gunner Solskjaer’s side on Tuesday at Camp Nou.

A brace from Lionel Messi and a strike from Philippe Coutinho ensured that the La Liga champions dumped Man United out of the Champions League.

Savage believes Messi was mocking Pogba after scoring two goals against Man United and taking his goals tally to 10 this season in the Champions League.

“Look at Messi just teasing Pogba,” Savage told BBC Radio 5 Live.

“You just want Pogba to grab a game and once again he has been overrun.”

Barcelona will play the winner between Porto and Liverpool in the Champions League semi-final on April 30.
