Champions League: Manchester City releases strong XI against Tottenham

City have released a strong squad ahead of their Champion League quarter-final clash against Tottenham on Wednesday.

The Citizens would be aiming to produce a comeback in the last-eight tie at the Etihad after losing the first leg in London.

Tottenham defeated their Premier League rivals 1-0 in the first leg in London last week.

City boss, Pep Guadiola made some weird team selection in the first leg that raised many eyebrows.

Brazilian midfielder, Fernandinho is injured and will not be part of the game.

Also, Oleksandr Zinchenko, who is suffering a thigh problem, will not be available for selection.

Manchester City XI:

Formation: 4-3-3

Goalkeeper: Ederson

Defenders: Kyle Walker, John Stones, Aymeric Laporte, Danilo.

Midfielders: Ilkay Gundogan, Kevin de Bruyne, David Silva, Bernardo Silva, Raheem Sterling

Striker: Sergio Aguero.
