Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool on Wednesday night made history in their 2-1 defeat by Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League fixture played at the Parc des Princes Stadium in France.

Juan Bernat and Neymar scored for the hosts, before James Milner pulled one back from the spot for the Reds ahead of the half time.

According to Metro UK, Liverpool’s defeat to the French Ligue 1 champions means it is the first time in the club’s history they would lose all three of their Champions League away games in the group stages.

Liverpool now need to beat Napoli at Anfield next month, to progress to the knockout stages of the Champions League.

Klopp’s men are third placed on the Group C table with 6 points from five games, while PSG are second placed with 8 points from the same number of games.

Liverpool will now tackle Arsenal this weekend at the Emirates in the Premier League fixture.
