Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante, has reserved special praise for striker, Tammy Abraham, following the Blues’ 2-1 win over Lille in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night.
Tammy Abraham gave the Premier League side the lead, but Lille levelled before half-time through Victor Osimhen.
Willian settled the affair with a 77th-minute volley at the Stade Pierre Mauroy.
And Kante hailed Abraham’s impact after the match, adding that the 22-year-old is doing great things for the club.
“We were expecting a complicated match,” Kante was quoted by Metro UK as saying after the match.
“Frankly, Lille had a good game, they often put us in trouble, we wanted to win, we managed to win.
“We’re going to be satisfied with this victory Tammy Abraham is a player who has been in Chelsea for a long time, he’s doing great things and scores a lot of goals, he scores tonight and it’s nice to have him.”
Chelsea will now play Ajax Amsterdam in their next Champions League fixture.
