Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, has hailed Danny Sturridge after the Reds beat PSG 3-2 at Anfield in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Sturridge and James Milner gave Liverpool a 2-0 lead before Kylian Mbappe equalised for PSG.
Roberto Firmino’s late goal, however, put the game to bed.
The late win puts Liverpool top of Group C after Napoli could only draw with Red Star Belgrade in Serbia.
Klopp was particularly happy with the contribution of goalscorer, Sturridge, who started his first game of the season, and his first Champions League match in six years.
“Daniel played a super game,” he told post match conference.
“I have never seen him as fit as he is in the moment.
“He was everywhere. He helped left and right and he was in the box when he was needed.
“Then you can bring Bobby Firmino on and that helps a lot. I loved his goal celebration.”
