Former Everton defender, Joseph Yobo, has recealed the best player on the planet.
Yobo made the claim after Barcelona recorded a 3-0 victory against Liverpool at the Camp Nou on Wednesday evening.
Luis Suarez slotted past Alisson Becker to put Barcelona ahead in the 26th minute, before Lionel Messi doubled the advantage with fifteen minutes remaining.
Yobo described Lionel Messi as the best player on the planet.
Yobo, a former Nigeria international stated this in his post-match analysis on SuperSport.
He said, “I think that’s what makes him so special, Alisson knew where the ball was going to go but the precision, it’s just an exquisite free-kick.
”It is magnificent, like Dwight rightly said, it’s all in one. Messi knew what he wanted to do, knew his spot.
“The goalkeeper knew he’s coming that way but it was just a beauty to watch.
”It is an unbelievable goal, he is the greatest player in the world.”
Messi will lead Barcelona to Anfield for the return leg next week Tuesday.
