Nigerian forward, Henry Onyekuru, and his teammates in Anderlecht will earn £35,000 each if they defeat Scottish Champions, Celtic in Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League Group B game in Brussels.

Anderlecht and Celtic were defeated in their opening games by the Group favorites, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint Germain respectively and are expected to fight it out for the third spot and a place in the UEFA Europa League.

A Belgian newspaper, Het Nieuwsblad reports that Onyekuru and his teammates will walk away with £15,000 bonus each for every draw they record in Group B.‎

This season’s bonuses is much more than what the players earned the previous one during their Europa League run.

Onyekuru, who is on loan from Everton made his debut for Anderlecht in their 3-0 away defeat to Bayern Munich on matchday-one of the Champions League.

He has scored four goals in his last seven games for the club since arriving.

Anderlecht paid their players £7.7million for qualifying for the Champions League, a win would see them shell out €1.5million of that windfall and €500,000 for a draw.
