Chelsea forward, Eden Hazard, has said that Chelsea are in “trouble” if they do not defend as a team in their clash with Barcelona.
Antonio Conte’s men have only managed four wins in all competitions in 2018, and are going into the Tuesday’s Champions League round of 16 clash at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues will face Barcelona in the first leg of the tie and Hazard is confident that home advantage can give his side the edge over Ernesto Valverde’s men.
However, the Belgian insists Chelsea must prioritize defending if they have any chance of competing with the La Liga giants.
Hazard told Chelsea’s official website, “Firstly, we need to defend as a team. Because if we don’t against Barcelona we are in trouble, so we need to defend all together and try to play our own football.
“We have players in our team who like the ball and when we have the ball, we need to play our own football and try to score goals, because the first game is at the Bridge in front of our own fans.
“We know it is tough to beat Chelsea and we are in a good position.”
