Champions League final: Ronaldo reveals his biological age, says best players are at Madrid

Real Madrid legend, Cristiano Ronaldo has said he remains at the peak of his powers and says he intends to keep playing until he is forty-one.

The 33-year-old Portuguese enters Saturday’s Champions League final looking for a fifth European crown.

He is also the leading scorer in the competition with 15 goals.

Ronaldo said he is 23-year-old biologically, adding that he is not slowing down any time soon.

He told reporters, “Right now I have a biological age of 23. I’ve still got a long time left, I can keep playing until I’m 41. I’m feeling good, happy, I can’t complain.

“We are playing another final on Saturday and the fans are behind Cristiano.”

Ronaldo would be the first man to score in four European Cup finals should he hit the net against Liverpool on Saturday.

The Portugal captain also spoke on the rumoured arrival of another heavyweight striker at the club, saying, “I’ve been here for eight years and people always say 50 players are coming here but in the end no one comes.

“In September people think lots of players are going to come but the ones who take us to finals are always the same ones.

“The best players are already at Madrid. Bale, Benzema, [Lucas] Vazquez, [Marco] Asensio. They are all here.”
